This tool never uploads your input.

Hear a draft or a pronunciation. The voice list is whatever the operating system installed. We do not ship a neural model.

A paragraph you want to hear before you send it, or a pronunciation check without pasting into a vendor TTS. This page uses the speechSynthesis voices already on the device and chunks long text.

Recording your own voice is voice recorder. Pulling audio out of a video is extract audio. PDF text that is already digital is extract PDF text.

Proof by ear

Read a cover letter aloud with speechSynthesis. Voices are whatever the OS installed. Long text is chunked around 4000 characters. We do not promise an MP3 download or a studio narrator.

How to use it

  1. Paste the text. Pick a voice the OS actually listed.
  2. Play. If it stops mid-way, the chunker or a browser quota tripped — split the paste.
  3. For a scan, OCR first; this box will not look at pixels.

Honest limits

Not a cloned-voice product. Not SSML studio. Quality is the system voice, including the robotic ones.

FAQ

Can I download an MP3 of the voice?

Not as a product promise. The browser speaks; it does not give you a studio stem.

Why is the voice list empty or tiny?

The OS/browser ships voices. Some Linux images and locked-down IT builds have almost none.

How long can I paste?

Text is chunked (a few thousand characters at a time in the engine). A novel will be painful. This is not an audiobook farm.

Is the text uploaded to a TTS vendor?

No cloud voice API. Speech stays in the browser’s speech engine.

Will this read a PDF?

Paste extracted text. Scans need OCR first (English-first on this site).
