Cut page ranges out of a PDF in this tab — for example 1-3,5 — and download a smaller file. This is extract-to-a-new-PDF, not a page organizer and not a compressor.

You only need pages 3–7 of a 40-page pack, or the email limit laughed at the whole binder. That is this page: copy a range into a new PDF on this device.

It is not organize PDF (one file, new order). It is not compress PDF (same pages, fewer bytes, JPEG rebuild). It is not PDF to JPG.

When splitting is the honest fix

  • A portal that wants “the form only,” not the handbook stapled behind it.
  • Gmail’s 25 MB send cap on personal accounts — encoding adds overhead, so people often aim nearer 18–20 MB raw. Sending half the pages beats crushing type you still need to select.
  • Sharing one exhibit without the rest of the discovery folder.

How to use it

  1. Drop the original PDF. Other file types are rejected.
  2. Enter ranges such as 1-3,5.
  3. Process in this tab and download. If the extract is still a scan brick, compress that new file.

Typical ceiling is about 32 MB. A file that will not even open here will not split here.

What this will not do

  • Split on blank pages, bookmarks, or “each invoice.”
  • Unlock someone else’s password.
  • Keep a searchable text layer if you later run the JPEG compressor on the result.

To combine the pieces again later, use merge PDF.

FAQ

Can I type a range like 3-7?

Yes. Use comma-separated pages and hyphen ranges, such as 1-3,5. Pages outside the range stay in the original on disk; we only build a new file from what you keep.

Is this the same as deleting pages?

Similar outcome, different job. Split downloads the pages you named. Organize PDF is for reordering, rotating, or dropping pages and saving one revised file.

Will this get a 40 MB packet under Gmail’s limit?

Only if the pages you keep are actually smaller. Extracting ten scan pages can still be huge. Compress those pages after the split, or compress first if you truly need the whole binder smaller.

Do I get one PDF per page?

This build keeps your range in one new PDF. It does not burst every page into its own file and zip them, and it does not split on invoice numbers or blank pages.

What about bookmarks and passwords?

Password-protected files may fail. Do not expect a perfect bookmark tree in the extract.

Does the source PDF get uploaded?

No. Page copy stays in this tab. Typical ceiling is about 32 MB.
