When organize is the right tool

  • A phone scan pack with pages in camera-roll order.
  • One landscape page in an otherwise portrait packet.
  • Removing a cover you were never supposed to send.

Unsaved order is the usual pitfall: download the new file before you close the tab.

How to use it

  1. Drop one PDF. Passworded files may fail.
  2. Reorder, rotate, or drop pages. Save in this tab.
  3. If you only needed pages 3–7 as a separate attachment, split instead.

Typical ceiling is about 32 MB.

Honest limits

  • Not Acrobat portfolios, Bates, or OCR bookmarks.
  • Mixed page sizes stay mixed.
  • JPEG-compressing afterward drops selectable text.

This is a local utility, not a document-management system.

FAQ

Is this the same as split PDF?

No. Split downloads the pages you named as an extract. Organize keeps one document: new order, rotations, and pages you dropped.

Can I combine two PDFs here?

Use merge PDF. This page does not concatenate files.

Do page numbers update when I reorder?

Printed numbers that were already drawn on the page stay where they were. To stamp 1 of N after you shuffle, use PDF page numbers on the result.

Will bookmarks survive?

Do not count on a perfect outline. Treat the download as a new file.

The scan is huge.

Typical ceiling is about 32 MB. Split first if the binder will not load, then organize the piece you care about.
