Print a footer page number — 1 or 1 of N — on each page in this tab. Organize pages first if the order is wrong; numbers that were already scanned into the paper will not move.
A print pack needs 1 of N in the footer so people can say “see page 4.” That is this page: an overlay in the current tab.
It is not organize PDF. It is not watermark PDF. It is not Adobe Bates.
Number, then print
- Fix order and rotation first.
- Drop the PDF. Choose
1or1 of N. - Process in this tab and download.
Typical ceiling is about 32 MB. Tight footers on already-busy scans can collide with content; we do not run a collision detector.
Honest limits
- No roman numerals, no “Appendix A-3,” no inside-margin lawyer styles.
- Passworded files may fail.
- Compressing with the JPEG rebuild later will flatten the whole page, numbers included.
To send only some numbered pages, split after you stamp — or split first if the binder will not load.
