Render PDF pages to JPEG or PNG in this tab so you can drop a page into chat, slides, or a form that rejects PDFs. This draws each page; it does not pull original embedded photos out losslessly.
A form wants a picture, Slack will not preview the PDF, or you need page 2 in a slide. That is the job: turn pages into image files on this device.
This tool rasterizes selected pages — a screenshot of each page — then lets you download JPEG or PNG. It is not “extract every embedded image object.” It is not extract PDF text and not OCR.
When a page image is what you need
- Chat apps and many mobile forms that handle JPG better than PDF.
- A single figure or stamped page for a ticket or expense app.
- A preview you can mark up in a photo editor.
If you needed to cut one photo into a grid, that is image splitter, not this page.
How to use it
- Drop a PDF from this device. Passworded files may fail.
- Choose pages and JPEG vs PNG.
- Render in this tab and download. Huge results can go through image compressor.
Typical ceiling is about 32 MB. A 40 MB scan pack will not start; split the PDF first.
Honest limits
- Selectable text is gone in the JPG. That is the point of a raster.
- We do not rebuild Word or Excel.
- Resolution is “good enough for screen,” not a guaranteed DPI for a print shop.
To go the other way — photos into a packet — use images to PDF.
