It is not image compressor (bytes). It is not image cropper (framing). It is not an AI upscaler.

Pixels vs kilobytes

A 4000-px JPEG can be 1 MB or 8 MB depending on content. Shrinking the long edge to 1920 usually cuts bytes and meets dimension rules. If the portal only mentioned 100 KB, you still may need a quality slider after this step.

Common examples, not laws: square avatars (200–512), “web wide” 1920 on the long edge, email inline 800–1200. Instagram and friends change crop presets; check the app.

How to use it

  1. Drop a JPEG, PNG, or WebP. HEIC goes through HEIC to JPG first.
  2. Enter width/height or a percent. Lock aspect unless you want a squash.
  3. Process in this tab. If the file is still heavy, compress. If you needed WebP, convert the format.

Typical ceiling is about 32 MB.

Honest limits

  • No 证件 / passport compliance.
  • No batch cloud queue.
  • Enlarging a 64-px icon will look like a 64-px icon.

FAQ

The form said 200 KB. Is that this tool?

That is file size. This page changes pixel dimensions. After you resize, use the image compressor if the JPEG is still too many kilobytes.

Can you upscale a tiny logo to print?

We can stretch pixels. That is not AI super-resolution. Soft, blocky results are expected.

Will you produce an official passport photo?

No. We do not certify background color, face ratio, or government sizes. Use the pixel boxes as a convenience, then follow the authority’s own guide.

Does resize strip EXIF?

A canvas resize usually writes a new file without the old EXIF block. If privacy is the job, run strip EXIF and verify.

My file is HEIC.

Convert HEIC to JPG first, then resize.

Is the photo uploaded?

No. Typical ceiling is about 32 MB per file.
