Switch a still among JPEG, PNG, and WebP in this tab when an app rejects WebP or you need a transparent PNG. Animated GIF becomes a single frame. HEIC is a different converter.
A designer sent WebP and Word will not open it, or you need PNG transparency behind a logo. That is this page: convert among JPEG, PNG, and WebP in the current tab.
HEIC to JPG owns iPhone originals. Image compressor owns “same format, fewer bytes.” Do not use this URL to rank every pair as its own product — one converter, several headings.
Which pair you probably want
- PNG → JPG — photos that do not need alpha; smaller email/forms.
- JPG → PNG — you needed a lossless container, not a miracle of detail that was never there.
- PNG/JPG → WebP — web delivery when the CMS accepts WebP.
- WebP → PNG/JPG — older Office, printers, and stubborn upload filters.
How to use it
- Drop the original still. Renaming
.webpto.jpgdoes not convert. - Pick the output format. Process in this tab.
- If the result is still huge, resize or compress.
Typical ceiling is about 32 MB.
Honest limits
- GIF animation is flattened.
- No PSD, RAW, or TIFF workshop.
- No Cloudinary-style URL transforms.
To embed a still as a data URI, use image to Base64.
