Create a ZIP from files you drop, or unpack a ZIP, entirely in this tab. This is not 7-Zip, not WinRAR, and not a way around Gmail’s 25 MB cap if the archive is still huge.
You want a .zip of a few files, or you want to see what is inside an archive without sending it to an online unzipper. That is this page.
It is not compress PDF and not image compressor. Those change the files. ZIP is a container.
Pack vs unpack
- Zip: drop files, download a ZIP. Order and paths are simple — this is not a backup product.
- Unzip: drop a
.zip, pull members out in the tab.
Typical ceiling is about 32 MB. That is the honest limit, not “unlimited cloud unzip.”
Email reality
Personal Gmail sending is 25 MB for the message; Base64 encoding adds roughly a third. A 22 MB ZIP still becomes a Drive link. Several small files in one ZIP can still help organization, not physics.
Honest limits
- No RAR/7z/tar.gz.
- No 8 GB game dumps.
- Executables inside ZIPs may still be blocked by mail hosts even when we pack them.
For checksums after you download an archive, file SHA-256 — if the zip is under the size cap.
