Two drafts of a policy or a config. Red and green by line. No remotes, no .docx internals, no legal redline metadata.
Two versions of a Terms paragraph, or a config you were emailed twice. This page is a line diff in a worker. It is not git diff against a repo and not a law-firm redline.
Pretty-print structured text on JSON formatter first. Edit one buffer with find and replace. Scans without a text layer need OCR (English-first) or they will diff as garbage.
Two pastes, not git blame
Yesterday’s email vs this morning’s edit, or two YAML revisions. No history, no authors, no Word track-changes. Pull text out of a PDF first if you need clause compare. Whitespace-only noise often wants the cleaner first.
How to use it
- Paste left and right.
- Run. Cancel if the tab wheezes.
- For minified JSON, format both sides so changes are visible.
Honest limits
Not a merge tool. Not metadata-preserving legal compare. Not a 2 GB cloud job.
